My goal as a counselor is to help my clients gain a deeper understanding of how they can live their life authentically. I believe that everyone deserves to live a life that they can be happy in and proud of. I work collaboratively with my clients to create treatment goals for the journey forward. This is your journey, you deserve to be a part of the process.
Though I pull from many modalities, I work mainly with mindfulness to nurture the mind/body connection and bring my clients back to the present moment. I work with individuals (18+) who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, religious/spiritual trauma, life transitions or stressors, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I want to create a safe space for all humans to explore what living authentically means to them.
I hold a masters of science in mental health counseling from Carson-Newman University and am currently working towards my LPC-MHSP under supervision. I have been in the mental health field for about 3 years and have experience in both residential and IOP settings.
